Rounds and limits

So that buyers are not flooded with calls, requests are published in rounds.

How rounds work

• A request is shown to 20 suppliers per round.
• After the 20th unlock the request pauses automatically.
• The buyer is notified.
• When the buyer resumes the request, the next round starts.
• At 100 unlocks in total, the request closes.

For buyers

1. When you receive the pause notice, review the contacts and offers you got.
2. If you want more suppliers, resume the request.
3. If your need is met, close the request.

A paused request is not shown to new suppliers, but you can still see your existing offers.

For suppliers

Before unlocking, make sure the request is still live. When a round is full, the request leaves the feed. The buyer's company name stays hidden until you unlock.

Common questions

Why was my request paused? 20 suppliers may have unlocked it. Check your notification.

What happens when I resume? The request goes live again and the next round starts, so it is shown to new suppliers.

I reached the 100 limit, what now? For a similar need, use "Repeat request" to create a new draft.
