Categories make sure your request reaches the right suppliers. Kaynac uses four levels: category > subcategory > type > variant.
How is a category chosen?
When you describe your need in one sentence while creating a request, Kaynac AI finds a suitable category. You can review it and change it from the list yourself.
Depending on the category, extra fields appear. These are details specific to that product or service, such as size or material.
If the category does not fit
If you cannot find what you are looking for, or the suggestion is wrong, tap "this category doesn't fit" and write a short note. Your request is not blocked. It goes to review and a moderator fixes the category for you.
Why does the category matter?
- Suppliers see requests according to the categories their company supplies.
- A wrong category keeps your request away from the right suppliers.
- The AI pre-check can flag a wrong category.
For suppliers
In your company profile you choose the categories you supply and the ones you want. You can also follow categories you are interested in. These choices shape your feed.
Common questions
Can I change the category later? Yes, but editing the content of a live request sends it back to review.
Do I have to write a note? A note helps the moderator and speeds up the fix.
